Vancouver man charged with Internet luring

A 33-year-old Vancouver man has been charged with luring and child pornography after police say he went online to meet with under-aged girls for sex.

“In late August, VPD Vice Unit members received information from that a man was using the Internet to meet under-aged girls for sex. Our investigators posed as young girls,” explains Constable Lindsey Houghton.

A man was then arrested when officers set up a location for him to meet up with what he thought was two 13-year-old girls. Police say they also found images of child pornography on his computer.

Aaron Frederick Bourcier will be in court September 27.

Parents are urged to keep an eye on their children’s online activity. The Children of the Street Society launched a new campaign earlier this year aimed at child predators who solicit children on line called Predator Watch.
